1. HOW LONG DO YOU GET TO SKATE?
Sessions are 45 minutes long and start on the hour. We advise arriving at least 20 minutes in advance to ensure you have enough time to prepare for your session. The session ends at the same time for everyone so don’t be late otherwise you’ll have less time to enjoy being on the ice!
6. CAN I BRING MY BAG TO THE ICE?
Bags of any description are not allowed on the ice. We recommend that you only bring essentials with you. All bags must be placed in the cloakrooms provided. Waterford on Ice does not accept any liability for loss, theft or damage except if caused by intent or gross negligence of the company or its employees.
2. Do you provide skating aids on the ice?
Yes, we provide a number of fibre-glass weighted penguins on the ice that operate on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number available so it is best to arrive at the venue in advance of your session to ensure the availability of a penguin aid. Skate aids are available for under 10s only. There are a limited number of skate aids at each rink and skaters must be under 110cm to use them
7.Can I change my booking?
Once booked, tickets are non-transferable and are unable to be rescheduled, refunded or cancelled. Please check your tickets carefully prior to checking out, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
3. Can I use my own skates?
Skaters are welcome to bring their own skates, noting this will not alter the price of your ticket. Speed Skates are not permitted on the ice, and organisers reserve the right not to allow a person to use their own skates if they decide that they are not suitable. We do not sharpen personal ice skates.
8. Is there wheelchair access?
Yes, Waterford on ice rink is accessible for wheelchair users.
4. Should I pre-book a session or can I turn up on the day?
We recommend that all sessions are pre-booked online to avoid disappointment and avoid queues on site at busy periods. Tickets may be booked on the day, subject to availability.
9. If I cannot make it to my booked session, will I get a refund?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer any refunds for non-attendance.
5. IF I HAVE BOOKED TICKETS AND CAN’T MAKE IT, WHAT HAPPENS? CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING?

Waterford on Ice is located in the heart of Waterford City Centre.
